Appesque was founded by James Harnedy, a mobile applications expert and consultant with over fifteen years industry experience. James was developing applications for BlackBerry back when the devices had monochrome green ‘n black screens. James co-founded Galty Technologies in 2002 and served as CTO until its sale in 2006. Galty Technologies was Europe’s first BlackBerry Applications company. Over the years James recruited talented teams to build the latest and greatest mobile applications focused on BlackBerry and in more recent years adding other smartphone platforms such as iPhone and Android and the emerging Tablet platforms of iPad, PlayBook and Honeycomb.
